Phoebe Hui is a Hong Kong-based artist, researcher, and educator whose work explores the impact of technology on our perception of reality. Her research draws from the philosophy of science, language, and machine learning, utilizing diverse media such as robotics, kinetic sculpture, and sound. She holds an MFA from UCLA, an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, and a BA in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong. Hui's work has been presented globally at venues like Ars Electronica, ISEA, MIT Media Lab, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has received numerous awards, including the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Artist of the Year (Media Arts) in 2022 and Young Artist of the Year (2012). She was awarded the 5th Audemars Piguet Art Commission for her installation 'The Moon is leaving us,' marking the first commission shown in Asia and becoming the first female artist awardee in Asia.

Nao Tokui is an artist, DJ, and researcher based in Tokyo. While pursuing his Ph.D. at The University of Tokyo, he produced his first music album and singles using AI and machine learning, including a 12-inch record with Nujabes, the legendary Japanese hip-hop producer. After completing his doctoral research, Tokui founded Qosmo, an AI Creativity and Music Lab, in 2009. Since then, he has been working at the intersection of AI technology and art.

Tokui and his team's works have been exhibited at renowned venues such as New York's MoMA and London's Barbican Centre. Their performances have also been showcased at various music festivals, including MUTEK and Sónar. Additionally, he is leading the development of AI-based music instruments at his newly founded company, Neutone.

In 2021, Tokui received the Okawa Publishing Award for his Japanese book on art, creativity, and AI. The book was translated and published in English as 'Surfing human creativity with AI — A user's guide' in November 2023.

Naiyi Wang is a curator and researcher whose work concentrates on the juncture between ecology, technology, and expanded definitions of life and non-life from an intersectional perspective. She serves as director of Beijing Art and Technology Biennale (BATB) and curated the inaugural edition titled Synthetic Ecology (2022), and is currently working on the second edition titled Earthwise, which brings together 50 renowned artists, scientists and ecologists from all over the world.

She is co-founder of FAIR OF ART, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (FAST), which is committed to bringing together the most forward-looking and pioneering galleries and artists in the world's art and technology fields, promoting the innovation of the art trading market. Prior to that, she curated/co-curated exhibitions at 1st Guangzhou Design Triennial, 4th London Design Biennale, 4th Istanbul Design Biennial, London Design Festival, Milan Design Week, Beijing Media Art Biennale (BMAB), Asia Digital Art Exhibition (ADAE), among many others.

Ziyang Wu is an artist based in New York and Hangzhou, currently teaching at the School of Intermedia Art at the China Academy of Art, and is a former member of NEW INC at the New Museum. His recent practices examine how current technologies, in a cross-cultural context, affect politics, society, and the explicit and implicit relationships between things at both macro and micro levels. His video, AR, AI simulation and interactive video installation have exhibited internationally, including Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Philadelphia, Rhizome at the New Museum, Walker Art Center, Rochester Art Center, SXSW, Art Dubai, Hek Basel, ifa Berlin, Medici Palace, M+ Museum, K11, UCCA, Power Station of Art, Long March Space, Today Art Museum, Song Art Museum, How Art Museum, and Ming Contemporary Art Museum. His recent fellowships and residencies include the shortlist of “Future Generation Art Prize”; “The Randall Chair” award at Alfred University; “Kai Wu” Interdisciplinary Studio residency, Media Art Lab, Times Museum; AACYF Top 30 under 30; Residency Unlimited; MacDowell; Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA); Winner of The ROCI Road to Peace by Robert Rauschenberg Art Foundation.

Joon Yong Moon (Korea, b.1982), aka Joon Moon, is a South Korean new media artist. He is working on experimental media and computational art such as augmented reality, tangible interface, generative art, and sound visualization. His works were exhibited at MOMA(New York), Ars Electronica, Microwave, Onedotzero, FILE, Cinekid, and Scopitone, and major museums of Korea such as National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul Museum of Art, Kumho Museum, and National Asian Culture Center.

His representative series of works, 'Augmented Shadow,' refers to a technology and artistic experience that implements augmented reality using shadows. Augmented Shadow enhances immersivity by superimposing virtual shadows onto real objects' actual shadows. Due to the nature of shadows existing at the boundary between imagination and reality, viewers experience a unique sense of fantasy and poetic emotion, as well as intellectual play through the unexpected forms of the shadows. Since the initial work 'Augmented Shadow' (2010), he has been exploring its distinctive visual aesthetics and interaction principles. This series has garnered the STARTS Prize Nomination from the European Commission, an Excellence Award from the Japan Media Arts Festival, and official selections from international XR film festivals such as Kaohsiung, Sandbox (China), and Bucheon.
